1. Select the Router icon from the Devices pane on the left side of the Packet Tracer window.
2. Drag and drop the Router icon onto the workspace.
3. Right-click the Router icon and select Configure.
4. Select the DHCP tab from the Router Configuration window.
5. Select DHCP Server from the DHCP Service drop-down menu.
6. Enter the IP address for the DHCP Server.
7. Enter the network subnet mask.
8. Enter the range of IP addresses that the DHCP Server will allocate for clients.
9. Enter the lease time for the IP addresses.
10. Click Apply and then click OK to save the configuration.
