Installing wireless on Windows 7 is a very simple process.
1. First, you will need to insert your wireless adapter into the USB port.
2. Once it has been inserted, Windows 7 will automatically detect the device and begin searching for available networks.
3. When it has found the list of networks, select the one that you want to connect to and it will prompt you for a network security key. Enter this key and click Connect.
4. Wait while Windows connects to the network. If a connection is successful, you should see a notification that it is connected.
5. You can now browse the Internet as you would with a wired connection.
1. Navigate to the Control Panel and select Network and Internet.
2. Select Network and Sharing Center.
3. Select Set up a new connection or network.
4. Select Manually connect to a wireless network.
5. Enter the network name (SSID), security type (WEP, WPA, WPA2), encryption type (AES or TKIP) and password.
6. Select Connect.
7. The wireless connection should now be established.
1. Connect the wireless adapter to your computer.
2. Click the Start button, then click “Control Panel.”
3. Go to “Network and Internet” and click “Network and Sharing Center.”
4. Click “Set up a new connection or network.”
5. Select “Manually connect to a wireless network,” then click “Next.”
6. Enter the network name (SSID) of the wireless network you are connecting to, then click “Next.”
7. Select the security type and encryption method used by the wireless network, then enter the password (if needed), then click “Next.”
8. Click “Close” to finish setting up the wireless connection.
