1. Open the Windows Start menu and select “All Programs” followed by “Oracle Database 11g Express Edition”.
2. Select the “Start Database” option.
3. Enter in the username and password that were created during the installation process.
4. Once the database is started, the Oracle Database 11g Express Edition window will appear and display the status of the database.
5. To connect to the database, select the “Connect” button in the Oracle Database 11g Express Edition window and enter the username and password.
