To trace an IP address using Cmd, use the “tracert” command. This command is used to trace the path of a packet of data from its source to its destination. To use this command, open the Command Prompt window and type “tracert [IP address]” and press Enter. This will display the route taken by the packet of data and the IP address of each hop along the way.
