1. Start by gathering your tools: a crimping tool, a set of small pliers, and the connectors or cables you need to connect.
2. Insert the appropriate connector or cable into the back of the crimping tool. Make sure the end is securely inserted as far as it can go.
3. Using the small pliers, line up the wires inside the connector so they match the grooves inside the crimping tool. Make sure the ends of the wires are even with the end of the crimper.
4. Once you have the wires in the connector, close the crimper jaws together until they meet. This will secure the wires in place.
5. Squeeze the handles of the crimper firmly to ensure the crimp is tight. You should hear a “click” when it’s done.
6. Open the crimper and remove the connector. The wires should be securely held in place by the crimp.
7. Test out your connection to make sure it’s secure.
