1. Connect the tester to one end of the Ethernet cable.
2. Connect the other end of the cable to the tester.
3. Power on the tester and press the “Test” button.
4. The tester will run through a series of tests, including continuity, wire map, and length.
5. Once all tests are complete, the tester will display the results. If any faults are detected, they will be indicated on the tester’s display.
6. Check the results to determine if the cable is functioning properly.
7. If the cable is not functioning properly, replace it or make any necessary repairs.
8. Disconnect the tester from the cables and turn it off when not in use.
