1. Cut the Ethernet cable to the desired length and strip off about 1 inch of the outer insulation.
2. Separate the twisted pairs of wires inside the cable and arrange them in the order of the desired Ethernet wiring scheme.
3. Place the RJ45 connector onto the end of the cable, making sure the wires are pushed all the way to the end of the connector.
4. Insert the connector into the crimping tool and squeeze the handles together to crimp the connector onto the wires.
5. Remove the crimped connector from the tool and inspect the crimp to make sure it is secure.
6. Repeat the process for any additional connectors.
