1. Create a Group Policy Object (GPO): To create a GPO, open the Group Policy Management Console (GPMC) and navigate to the domain or OU where you want the GPO to be applied. Right-click and select Create a GPO in this domain and link it here. Give the GPO a name, and it will be created.
2. Configure the GPO settings: Once the GPO is created, you can right-click it and select Edit to open the Group Policy Object Editor console. Here, you can configure the desired settings for the GPO.
3. Link the GPO to the appropriate container: Once the GPO is configured, you can link it to the appropriate container, such as a domain or OU. This can be done by right-clicking the container and selecting Link an Existing GPO. Select the GPO you want to link and click OK.
4. Test the GPO: After the GPO is linked, it is a good practice to test it to ensure that the settings are applied as expected. You can use the Group Policy Results Wizard for this purpose.
