1. Launch Wireshark.
2. Select the network interface you want to capture the IP data from.
3. Click the Capture Options button and select the Capture Filter option.
4. Enter “ip” in the Capture Filter window and click OK.
5. Click the Start button to begin capturing packets.
6. View the packets in the main window of Wireshark.
7. Right-click on a packet in the list and select “Protocol Details” from the menu.
8. Look for a line in the packet details that says “Source” or “Destination” followed by an IP address. This is the IP address associated with the packet.
