1. Turn off the power to the circuit where you will be wiring the switch.
2. Remove the cover plate from the box where you will be installing the switch.
3. Connect the ground wire from the stacked switch to the ground screw in the box, or to the ground wire that is already in the box.
4. Install the switch into the box, making sure it is aligned properly with the cover plate.
5. Connect the black (hot) wire from the Switch to the black wire leading to the light or outlet.
6. Connect the remaining wires (one to each terminal on the top of the switch) to the appropriate wires leading to the light or outlet.
7. Test the switch by turning the power back on and flipping the switch to the on position.
8. Replace the cover plate and secure the screws.
