1. Open the terminal window.
2. Type the command “nano filename” where filename is the name of the file you wish to create or edit.
3. Type your text into the file.
4. To save the file, press Ctrl+X.
5. Type “Y” to save the file, and press Enter to confirm the filename.
Your file has now been saved.
