A Cisco Access Point (AP) is a type of device that allows wireless communication between devices and networks. It provides an access point, or “hotspot”, for wireless clients to connect to a wired network. By providing this connection, it allows users to access the internet and other resources on the network. The AP also provides security to protect the data passing through it.

Poe (Power Over Ethernet) is a technology that allows devices, such as IP cameras, to receive power from an Ethernet cable connected to a network switch. This eliminates the need for a separate power adapter and makes devices more compact.

Poe+ (Power over Ethernet Plus) is a newer version of the Poe technology which provides more power. It has double the voltage and up to three times the current of regular Poe; thus delivering up to four times the power. Poe+ also supports PoE++, a variant that can deliver up to 25.5 Watts per port. This allows it to power more demanding devices, such as high–end security cameras or VoIP phones.

Port Tester is a tool used to test if ports on a network device are working properly. This involves sending data through the port and verifying that it is being received as expected. The port tester can also help identify any issues with ports, including slow response times, connectivity issues, or packet loss. It is useful for troubleshooting network connections and ensuring the desired performance from a server or other network device.
