Once you’ve found the key, double-click it, and enter the new port number. You can use any port number between 1 and 65535, but ports below 1000 are generally reserved for system services. Once you’ve entered the new port number, click OK to save the changes.
Once you’ve saved the changes, you’ll need to restart your computer for the changes to take effect. After restarting, the new port will be used for RDP connections.
