A 64 bit integer is a numerical data type that can store both positive and negative whole numbers of up to 64 bits (binary digits) in length. This data type is not the same as an 8–bit, 16–bit, or 32–bit integer but is instead a specific size of integer designed for certain applications such as large calculations, cryptography, and various types of data processing.
