A Front End Software Engineer is a person who designs, builds, and maintains the user-facing software applications, interfaces, and features used in web and mobile applications. The engineer’s primary responsibility is to ensure that the user experience runs smoothly and that the correct functionality and design are applied. This involves working with both client-side (front-end) technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as server-side (back-end) technologies such as databases and APIs. Front end engineers may also need to collaborate with the design team in order to create a unified user experience.
