Cisco SG300 is a series of managed network switches designed for Small and Medium Business (SMB) users. These switches provide basic security and quality of service (QoS) features, as well as advanced features such as Layer 3 routing and virtual LANs (VLANs). The series offers models with 8 to 48 ports, and support for a variety of media types including 10/100/1000Base-T, 100Base-FX, and 1000Base-X. Depending on the model, the SG300 series switches offer up to 8 Gigabit Ethernet ports and/or a combination of 10 Gigabit Ethernet/Gigabit Ethernet/Fast Ethernet ports.
