The Cisco SPA112 is an analog telephone adapter (ATA) with two ports that connects regular phones to a VoIP service provider. It is used to connect analog phones and fax machines to IP-based data networks, and is compatible with SIP protocol-based VoIP services. It supports both voice-over-IP (VoIP) and voice-over-data (VOD) service, allowing users to make and receive calls over the internet, saving money on long-distance calls. It also has a built-in Quality of Service (QoS) feature and a web-based configuration utility, making it easy to set up and manage. The SPA112 also has advanced features such as call forwarding, call waiting, call blocking, and caller ID.
