IP Helper–Address is a feature of Windows 2000, XP, Vista, and 7 that provides a means of configuring and viewing the IP address, Subnet Mask, and Default Gateway on a given computer. It also allows for the setting of DHCP options, if applicable. It is also referred to as “Ipconfig“.
