Low Latency Mode is a feature of some digital audio workstations (DAWs) that reduces the amount of time between when a sound is played and when it is heard. This setting can be useful for producing music with a tight, punchy feel, and it can also be used to reduce the delay between the time a microphone is used and when the signal is heard in headphones.
