LTE frequency bands are the frequencies used by a cellular network to communicate with 4G LTE mobile devices. LTE frequency bands are divided up into different frequency ranges. The frequency ranges correspond to specific services and geographical locations. Frequencies range from 700 MHz all the way up to 2.6 GHz. Some of the most commonly used LTE frequency bands in North America are Band 12 (700 MHz), Band 17 (700 MHz) and Band 4 (1700/2100 MHz).
