The MAC address (Media Access Control Address) is a unique identifier assigned to each network interface on a device. To view the MAC address of a device, the command to use depends on the operating system. On Windows, use the ipconfig /all command in the Command Prompt. On Mac OS/X, use the ifconfig command in the Terminal. On Linux, use the ifconfig -a command in the Terminal.
