A MacBook’s MAC address is a unique identifier assigned to the network interface of your MacBook. It is also referred to as a physical address or a hardware address. It is a 12-digit hexadecimal number that is usually displayed as six groups of two characters separated by colons (e.g. AA:BB:CC:DD:EE:FF). You can find the MAC address of your MacBook by opening the System Preferences, selecting the Network panel, and clicking the Advanced button. The MAC address will be displayed in the WiFi card information.
