Nagios configuration is the process of setting up and managing Nagios, an open source computer system and network monitoring software package. This includes configuring the Nagios core, setting up host and service monitoring, setting thresholds and notifications, and creating custom scripts and plug-ins. Nagios configuration can also include setting up additional features such as web interfaces, log file archiving, and distributed monitoring.
