Network bridging is the process of connecting two or more networks together, allowing them to communicate with one another. This is often done using a bridge, which is a device that acts as a gateway between two networks and forwards data between them. Bridge devices can be used to join networks of different types, such as Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and token ring. Bridging is often used to extend the range of a network, provide redundancy, and improve performance.
