Network topologies refer to the physical and logical arrangement or arrangement of computers, devices, nodes, and connections in a network. It determines how devices communicate with each other and how data is transmitted between them. The most common types of network topologies include bus, star, mesh, and ring.
Network topology is the arrangement of the various elements (links, nodes, etc.) of a computer network. Essentially, it is the topological structure of a network and may be depicted physically or logically. Network topologies may be used to define or describe the arrangement of various types of telecommunication networks, including command and control radio networks, industrial fieldbusses and computer networks.
