No switchport is a command used in Cisco networking devices to disable the Layer 2 switch port features on a physical interface. The command is used to configure an interface on a switch as a Layer 3 port, allowing it to be used for routing protocols such as IP and IPX. The command is often used when connecting a switch to a router.
