The OSI (Open Systems Interconnection) layer model is a seven-layer model of computer networking that describes how information is transferred from one device to another. It provides a framework for understanding the components of a network and how they interact. Each layer of the OSI model has specific functions and protocols that must be followed in order for a successful communication.
