Putty is a terminal emulator program for Windows and Unix-like systems, such as Linux and Mac OS X. It provides users with a command line interface (CLI) to run commands, configure systems, and perform many other tasks. Putty commands can be used to manage computer systems, transfer files, and perform many other tasks. Common Putty commands include:
• ssh: Used to establish a secure connection between two computers.
• scp: Used to copy files securely between two computers.
• telnet: Used to connect to a remote computer and send commands.
• ftp: Used to transfer files between two computers.
• rlogin: Used to log in to another computer on the network.
• cat: Used to view files.
• grep: Used to search for patterns within files.
