A router attack is a type of cyber attack that targets routers and other networking devices. It is done by exploiting vulnerabilities in the device’s software or hardware, or by gaining administrative access to the device. Examples of router attacks include denial-of-service (DoS) attacks, man-in-the-middle attacks, malware injection, command injection, and malicious port scanning.
