The Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) button is a feature of most modern routers. It is used to easily connect devices to the router wirelessly, without having to manually enter a network password. WPS works by pushing a physical button on the router (often labeled WPS), and then pushing a similar button on the device you want to connect. This establishes a secure connection between the two, allowing them to communicate.
