Software as a Service (SaaS) is a software distribution model in which a third-party provider hosts applications and makes them available to customers over the Internet. With SaaS, customers rent access to the provider’s applications instead of buying them outright. This makes SaaS an attractive option for businesses that don’t have the resources to maintain their own software infrastructure. SaaS applications are typically hosted on the cloud, which means they can be accessed anywhere, anytime, and on any device with an Internet connection.
