A static IP address is a permanent, unchanging address assigned to a computer or other device on a network. It is configured manually or automatically by an Internet Service Provider (ISP). Unlike a dynamic IP address, which is assigned automatically by the ISP and can change from time to time, a static IP address is permanent and stays the same.
A static IP address (also known as a fixed or dedicated IP) is an unchanging address assigned to a computer device, server or website which remains the same every time you connect to the internet. It allows for remote access and acts as the computer‘s signature online.
