Data center is a physical, on–premises infrastructure that stores and maintains data and business applications.Cloud is an off–site, distributed, virtualized computing environment that provides on–demand access to data storage and network resources. Data centers provide storage, processing, and networking capabilities while the cloud provides online accessibility to data, applications and infrastructure. Data centers require physical hardware and are maintained by IT staff, while cloud services are managed by cloud providers, providing considerable cost savings as well as scalability.
