Full duplex is a method of communication which allows data to be sent and received simultaneously, while half duplex allows only one direction of communication at a time. Full duplex is faster and more efficient, but requires more bandwidth and is more costly. Half duplex is cheaper and requires less bandwidth, but is slower and less efficient.
