The Physical Layer is the lowest layer of the OSI Model and is responsible for moving the bits of data over the physical medium. It defines the electrical and physical specifications of the network, such as voltage levels, type of cable, and the physical topology of the network. It is also responsible for the encoding and decoding of data.
