A wireless access point (WAP) is a hardware device that allows wired and wireless devices to connect to a network. It provides the bridge between the wired and wireless networks, allowing data to be sent between them. Essentially, it acts as a central hub for both wired and wireless devices to communicate with each other.
A wireless access point (WAP) is a device that connects wireless devices to a wired network using Wi-Fi or Bluetooth technologies. A WAP usually connects directly to a router (via a wired network) and can relay data between the wireless devices (laptops, tablets, smartphones, etc.) and a wired network. They can also provide a connection to the Internet.
