Unicode is a universal standard for encoding text and symbols. It is designed to support the worldwide exchange of text in any language, including all the world’s major languages, as well as many rare and ancient ones. Unicode is used to store, process, and display text on computers, smartphones, and other devices. It is also used to represent non-textual information, such as emoji and other graphical symbols.
