VLAN (Virtual Local Area Network) addressing is the method of assigning unique IDs to each VLAN in a network. These IDs are called VLAN IDs (VLAN IDs), and they are used to identify a VLAN on the network. VLAN IDs are used to segregate traffic within a network, allowing different types of traffic to be sent to different areas of the network. VLANs are typically used to separate traffic between different departments or companies, or to provide additional security and segmentation.
