VPN stands for Virtual Private Network and it is a way to use a public network (like the Internet) to securely send and receive data. It uses encryption to protect data, so that it can’t be intercepted by anyone else. When you connect to a VPN, your computer is assigned a new IP address and all your data traffic is routed through an encrypted tunnel, so that it can’t be read or seen by anyone other than you. This makes it much more secure and private than sending data over a regular connection.
