Wireless N is a wireless standard that was introduced in 2009 and provides speeds up to 300 Mbps. It is considered an improvement over the previous 802.11g standard, which provided speeds up to 54 Mbps. Wireless N has a range of up to 300 feet and is backwards compatible with older wireless networking standards.
