If your Ethernet is not working, there could be a number of causes. The most common issues include a faulty cable, an outdated or incorrect network driver, incorrect network settings, an outdated or incompatible router/modem, or a physical fault on the network card itself. It‘s best to start troubleshooting by verifying that cable, router, and modem are all functioning correctly. If those check out, try updating any out of date drivers and checking your network configuration settings.
