1. Install the operating system on the new hard drive. This can be done by using a bootable CD or USB drive.
2. Install any necessary drivers for the hardware.
3. Connect the new hard drive to the computer and make sure it is powered on.
4. Enter the computer’s BIOS and change the boot order so that the new hard drive is the first device to boot from.
5. Save the changes and exit the BIOS. The computer should then boot from the new hard drive.
