1. Open your web browser and enter the address for your router‘s administration page in the address bar. This is usually 192.168.1.1.
2. Enter your username and password. Most Cisco routers use “admin“ as the username and either “password“ or “admin“ as the password by default.
3. Once logged into your router, navigate to the administration settings section. This may be labeled as “Administration Settings,” “Security Settings“ or something similar.
4. Locate the option to change the router‘s password and enter the new desired password in both the Password and Confirm Password fields.
5. Select “Save“ or “Apply“ to save your changes. Your router is now using the updated password.
