If you suspect your email has been hacked, here are some signs to look out for:
1. Unexpected messages being sent from your account: This could be either spam or messages to someone you know. Check your “Sent” folder or ask the recipient if they received any suspicious emails from you.
2. Changes to your email contacts: You may find that your address book has been changed, or that new contacts have been added.
3. Login attempts from unfamiliar IP addresses: Check your email account’s “Activity Log” to see if there have been recent attempts to log in from unknown IP addresses.
4. Unrecognized activity: Pay attention to any unsolicited emails or website visits that you weren’t expecting.
5. Suspicious emails being received by your contacts: If your friends and family report receiving suspicious emails from you, this could mean that your account has been hacked.
