To change your IP address in Linux you will need to use a utility called ifconfig. This command line tool is used to configure and manage network interfaces. You will first need to know the name of your current network interface. To find out what your interface name is, you can use the command ifconfig –a. This will list all of the available network interfaces.
Once you have the interface name, you can use the following command to change your IP address:
sudo ifconfig <interface_name> <new_ip_address>
