1. Go to your router’s configuration page. This is typically done by typing 192.168.1.1 into your web browser address bar. This will bring you to the router’s setup page.
2. Log in to your router using the default user name and password. The default username might be admin, while the default password may be password.
3. From the home page of the router’s configuration page, look for a menu labeled “Security” or “Wireless Security”.
4. Click on the option labelled “Password” or “Passphrase”.
5. Enter the new password, followed by a confirmation.
6. Once you have finished changing the password, click the “Save Settings” button. The new password will now be active.
