To check the status of the CMOS battery, you can enter your computer’s BIOS setup menu and look for an option called “System Battery Voltage.” The voltage reading should be between 3.0 and 3.6 volts. If the voltage is below 3.0 volts, it means that the CMOS battery is running low and needs to be replaced.
