To check the version of HTTP in Wireshark, follow these steps:
1. Start a new capture session in Wireshark.
2. Select a network device to monitor.
3. In the Wireshark menu bar, select View > Find Packet.
4. Enter “http” into the search field (without quotes) and then click “Find All”.
5. Scroll through the packet list to find the HTTP message.
6. Right–click on the packet to open a contextual menu and select “Protocol Preferences”.
7. The “HTTP Version” field will show the version of HTTP used in that packet.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to check the HTTP version in Wireshark. However, it is possible to check the HTTP version in a packet capture file by using the packet analysis feature to look at the packet details. When analyzing the packet, you can look at the packet headers to view the version of the HTTP protocol being used.
