1. Log in to the Windows Server 2012 system as an administrator.
2. Click on Start and then Control Panel.
3. Click on Network and Internet and then Network and Sharing Center.
4. Click on Change Advanced Sharing Settings from the left-hand side.
5. Expand the All Networks section and select the Turn on network discovery and Turn on file and printer sharing options.
6. Select the Password protected sharing option and click the Save Changes button.
7. Open the Server Manager dashboard.
8. Click on the Tools menu and select the Active Directory Users and Computers option.
9. Right-click on the domain and select the Properties option.
10. Select the Security tab and click the Advanced button.
11. Check the box next to Enable Kerberos encryption type.
12. Click the OK button to save the settings.
13. Open the Command Prompt window and type the following command:
gpupdate /force
14. Restart the server to apply the changes.
