1. Log into the DHCP Server and open the DHCP server console.
2. Select the scope that is giving out the bad address and select “Properties“.
3. Select the “Exclusions” tab and make sure that the IP address that is giving the trouble is not in the list of excluded addresses.
4. If it is, click the remove button to exclude it from the list.
5. If it isn‘t, then select the “Reservations“ tab and look for the bad address.
6. Select it and click the “Remove“ button.
7. Restart the DHCP server service.
